Nike Phantom 6

THE PROJECT:

In collaboration with Hovercraft Studio and the Nike Global Retail Team, I led the design of experiential concepts for the Nike Phantom 6 visual center.

Along with designing interactive try-on installations where consumers could lace up and feel turf underfoot, we were tasked with designing a large-scale, immersive football game that would serve as an in-store trialing experience.

Inspired by the rugged, gritty tone of the Phantom 6 design language, we developed a caged-in football pitch equipped with a responsive stadium-style lighting rig and a massive digital game surface that surfaced a variety of targets for players to hit. The game experience allowed consumers to feel the performance of the boot and challenge their precision through interactive gameplay.

My role focused on interpreting Nike’s Phantom 6 campaign and translating it into a fully realized interactive experience. I led the concept and design of the game, built and iterated on the experiential model, and storyboarded the gameplay narrative in close collaboration with our animator.
