THE PROJECT:
In partnership with Arc’teryx Global Retail Design, Hovercraft Studio helped bring to life the brand’s largest, most ambitious retail flagship in Soho, NYC.
Approaching the expansive space from a conceptual level, we built the traditional Arc’teryx retail palette with the goal of creating a unique destination that connects urban retail with the essence of the outdoors. Our work included spatial programming, fixture design, customization zones, and innovative systems for refreshable, immersive digital storytelling.
I contributed to developing the holistic store concept, helping to shape spatial layouts, material usage, strategic zoning, brand moments and fixture design. As the only team member living in NYC, I was also largely involved with site visits and on-site client interaction.
